Who makes MiniPACS
MiniPACS is built and run by Tim, an independent software engineer. There is no staff page because there is no staff: the person who wrote the archive code is the same person who gives the demos, answers the support email and does the installs. His studio site is face2.me, and his professional profile is on LinkedIn. The footer of every page on this site links his personal profiles, so you can always check who you are dealing with.
That shape is worth stating plainly, because it cuts both ways. You do not get an account team or a booth at RSNA. You do get direct access to the engineer who runs the system, a flat price with no procurement theater, and software small enough that one person can actually hold all of it in their head. Independent imaging centers tend to recognize the trade, because most of them are built the same way.
This page exists because software directories, journalists and buyers doing diligence all need the same thing: one canonical place where the facts about MiniPACS are stated by the person responsible for them. It receives studies from modalities over DICOM C-STORE, stores them in an archive on hardware the center owns, and opens them in the browser through two viewers, Stone and OHIF, with a worklist to read from. Reports are stored as encapsulated PDFs alongside the study, so the archive holds the whole record, not just the pixels. The system installs with Docker on Linux and runs comfortably on a small machine for a single site. The production archive behind the live system holds millions of images.
Pricing is deliberately boring: $300 per location per month, flat. There are no per-study fees and no feature tiers, so the cost of last year's imaging does not keep arriving as a bill this year. Vendo
Vendo is a FHIR-native referral portal built on Medplum, the open-source healthcare platform. It replaces the fax machine on the referral side of an imaging business: referring physicians send orders online, book real appointment slots, and see the status of their patients from referred to scheduled to read. Vendo is sold as a companion to MiniPACS, not as a standalone product; its home on this site is the referral management software page. How to write the names
MiniPACS is one word: capital M, then PACS in capitals, the standard acronym for picture archiving and communication system. It is not Mini PACS, MiniPacs or Minipacs. The referral portal is Vendo, and since it is not sold on its own, the clearest first mention is "Vendo, the MiniPACS referral portal".
