That is the right shape for a family medicine or behavioral health office running its own front desk. Its public product pages do not mention imaging, radiology or PACS at all.

What RXNT does well

For its actual audience, RXNT is a lot of software for the money. A treating practice gets a certified EHR, e-prescribing, billing and revenue cycle, internal scheduling and a patient portal in one system, with US-based support included. Reviewers often single out the scheduler as easy to use. If you are running a clinic and want one vendor for the clinical and financial stack, that consolidation is a real advantage.

MiniPACS plus Vendo is not trying to win that buyer. It does not run a practice, it does not prescribe, and it does not bill. Pointing an imaging center at a full ambulatory suite means paying for a clinic platform to solve an imaging referral problem.

What the focused imaging stack changes

MiniPACS gives the center the one thing an ambulatory suite does not: a DICOM archive it owns, running on hardware at the center or a cloud server it controls, with a browser viewer. Pricing follows the same logic. RXNT is billed per provider per month across bundles, which makes sense for a clinic counting clinicians. An imaging center is not counting prescribers. MiniPACS is licensed flat by location, so the bill does not track headcount or study volume. If payment lapses, the archive turns read-only rather than locked.

Where Vendo wins the referral workflow

This is the sharp edge. RXNT schedules the practice's own patients from the front desk. Vendo does the opposite direction: it lets an outside referring office submit a structured imaging order, see the center's real open slots, book one on the spot, and track the status from referred to scheduled to read. How to choose honestly

MiniPACS supports HIPAA Security Rule safeguards such as user access controls, audit logs, TLS, auto-logoff and encrypted backups, but software alone is not a HIPAA seal.
